There are many forms or art in which il diamante has passion for including photography, poetry and music to list a few. Growing up in a musically inclined family, il diamante plays the piano, saxophone, drums, guitar, bass and various other instruments. He’s always had an ear and love for music, so in 2020 his passion evolved to DJing. il diamante's style and vibe are influenced by his passion for rock, rap, funk, R&B, bass, and the baritone saxophone. His formative years at the UCF in Orlando during the early to mid-90s, particularly his club days, coincided with the development of Breaks and house music.
Key artists and tracks that significantly shaped il diamante's musical journey include Rabbit in the Moon ("Out of Body Experience" and "Silence"), Huda Hudia, DJ Baby Ann (Bass Queen) with "Trippin on the Bass," DJ Icey, LTJ Bukem and the iconic duo Sasha and Digweed, known for mixes like "Renaissance" and "Northern Exposure(s)." As il diamante's exploration of house music continued, his palate expanded with inspiration from modern artists like Rufus du Sol and Bob Moses, adding a contemporary dimension to his evolving musical taste.
